Chrysler saw a sales gain of 14% compared to the same month last year, and a lot of that is thanks to Jeep and Ram.

Jeep sales were up 52% and Ram sales were up by 22%. Its the Jeep Cherokee and the Ram pickup truck that really were the force behind those impressive sales numbers.

“The spring selling season is heating up as our Jeep brand had its best monthly sales ever,” said Reid Bigland, head of Chrysler’s U.S. sales, in a statement.

Next year sales should continue to rise since the Renegade will be on sale too.

Looks like the only thing dragging them down was Chrysler car division. Fiat sales were up even though the 500 was down. I think once they get the 200 going Chrysler will do better.

OF course they were up this month, There was no KL cherokee at this time last year....

The 200 will sell relatively well, but I've been reading about how sedan sales are declining. Chrysler should think about coming out with a CUV in order to rescue that brand.

That and with them sharing a platform with Fiat, it helps them even more by splitting some overhead cost with Fiat. Lots of wins already from the start. Now we just need to see how well it will sell which will likely be good.

The Cherokee alone has done a lot, shown the doubters that it was a true success, especially with it's design that was unlike anything of theirs.

Renegades only sold 4,214 units out of 71,759 jeep vehicles sold


the Cherokee was up 22% but it didn't give total sales for the Cherokee.


I would bet Renegade sales would be up more if Mysky was available. It is one of two features I am waiting for.

It's available on Custom Order.
I ordered mine and it is presently in D status....well D as of last Friday.
Haven't checked in with Dealer this week.


I would guess if mine is being built soon with it...then dealers should have some as well, in not to distant future.
Have seen allot of people with D status on My Sky's
