Ok, I'm going to try an experiment here.

I've set up four sticky thread with polls in what seemed the most appropriate forum areas to try and get a feel for how many renegade owners are here and how much their renegades have been giving them problems or not.

However, those forums don't get the most eyeballs, so I'm setting up this sticky in the general discussion thread, which I'm going to bump regularly.

To try and keep it interesting I'll be updating the top post with any interesting stats I can dig up from other sources.

1) Show of hands, counting owners. Please visit this thread to check in via a poll if you are an owner.

2)500 Mile check in. Lets us know the number of problems you have had, even if it is none.

3)2000 Mile check in. Lets us know the number of problems you have had, even if it is none.

It's kind of cool to be one of the first 10,000 in the country with a new vehicle!

I got mine in 06.Nov.2014, one of the first over here in Germany actual 20500 km (12750 miles) and the only Thing i hate is that the Gas Tank seems leaking ... i cant see where the gas is going but i got to fill em up every 3 Days ... all i can say is when not driving Fuel stays in the tank ... but when driving you can see the fuel level decreasing steadily ...:D>:D:)

I've had mine for about 2 months, only 1100 miles on it (it's not a daily driver) - but no problems at all (well, one of those driver lights is out, but that's not really a problem)...

OK, June numbers are out.

Renegade added 4858 more sales for june 2015, bringing the YTD numbers up to 14,431 for the renegade.

To put that in perspective:
Buick encore did 5526 for 30,549 YTD (roughly 2.5-3 more months of sales for the year).
Honad HR-v did 7760 for 14,141 YTD with only two months of sales vs. the renegade 3.4-4.
Cehvrolet TRAX did 5971 with a YTD of 24,815 with a full (or nearly full) year of sales for 2015.
Subaru Crosstreck did 7876 and a ytd of 34,893.
The juke did 2567 for a YTD of 14,647.

Solid numbers for a new entry into this segment. I don't mind that it's not at the top of the class, simply because if I had it my way the Renegade would remain a niche model for exclusivity purposes. ;p Don't want to see one at every corner lol.

Funny how the Patriot sales have jumped 41% for the month following increases in the months since the Renegade has been out. I think we may have another Dart/Avenger situation with the Renegade/Patriot. The Dart was nearly Avenger sized and far more modern, but sales didn't jump off until this year when the Avenger was phased out due to the cash on the hood of the Avenger. I can see folks going with the Patriot so save money vs the far more modern Renegade. Should see sales jump when the Patriot/Compass are replaced and more incentives are offered on the Renegade. For now I think Jeep likes the premiums its getting off it though.

The HR-V will be the subcompact CUV king though, that much is apparent just like the CR-V dominates the comact segment. Vanilla is the most popular ice cream flavor for a reason.

Caught this on CNBC this afternoon. FCAU June sales up 8.2% and in particular Jeep sales "RED HOT" up 25% beating Ford for the first time ever. I have tried to include the link, you have to sit through the advertisement, but interesting clip and worth following.

Click link, wait about 10 seconds (sorry) then you can hit play button. I hope it works!!

Fiat-Chrysler beats Ford in retail sales
