lock/unlock door chime - how to disable?

My wife took my jeep this morning so I can't check for sure, but if you press more (underneath the compass button) and then settings there is a whole menu for customizing locks and security. Hopefully you will find something there to help. The options seemed pretty extensive (at least for what I needed)

If you mean the horn beep, you can disable it entirely or set it to chime on only the second lock press.

Go to your radio, Uconnect, and fiddle with the settings. I have mine set so only my lights go off when I'm locking or unlocking.

Sorry to bump an old thread but i'm trying to turn off the beep as well, the only option I can find on the uconnect screen is for the lights flashing. (5" uconnect, on a longitude).

Beep, Beep, Beep - driving me crazy

PLEASE can someone tell me how to turn off those incredibly annoying lock/unlock beeps. It is not the horn that is sounding like some people have mentioned, it is a definite electronic chime sound, quite high pitched. Everyone in the street knows when I am either coming or going. Why someone saw fit to put the chime/beep on the car in the first place I have no idea. I can't understand anyone who would like this feature. Please can someone give me exact instruction as I have searched both the UConnect and Multiview menu system turning off every beep sounding item I can find and it's still doing it. I have even tried holding down the unlock button for 5 seconds on the key fob which did nothing and I have also tried it with the lock button too. I have the Longitude version with the flick out key fob thing which has 4 buttons on it, (Unlock, Lock, Boot, Lights).

I have the same issue, the manual says the settings for the door lock beep are under Doors and Locks, but the menu only has two options Autoclose and Flash lights with lock. I've had the software updated to the latest version but still no options to select, the dealers trying to resolve it.
I've got the Limited with the 6.5" Uconnect screen....

I have the same, and I don't think it can be done on UK versions.
It is annoying.

Jeep customer care called and said that it can't be turned off, irrespective of what the manual says.

The manual seems to be generic for all Fiats.

It can be once done with my jeep by local locksmith, he done locking/ unlocking by rebooting the system and enter the username password and then the next reboot will disable the locking/unlocking system.

I have a 2015 Renegade Limited with keyless entry, build date 9/2015. There is no chime. The horn used to beep when locking; but, I disabled that.

How???? I am ready to drive it off a cliff!

Uconnect - • Horn With Lock
When this feature is selected, the horn will sound when
the Key Fob Lock button is pressed. To make your
selection, press the “Horn w/Lock” button on the touchscreen
and select from #Off ,” “1st Press,” or “2nd Press”
press the back arrow/Done button on the touchscreen to
return to the previous menu.

I'm seriously thinking of unplugging the "speaker" that makes this terrible sound.
would I get error messages?

Hi Rizla...did you find the answer to this (the same problem i have)??? I've tried all the uconnect settings too......and can't see where to do it!!

In the UK you cannot disable the 'chime' on locking/unlocking the door. You get 2 loud bleeps to unlock and one for lock. In the uconnect you can disable the light feature that flashes when locking/unlocking but not the chime. The reason for the light flash and chime sound is i presume to let you know whether you have locked/unlocked the vehicle. I sometimes wonder whether i have locked the doors when im inside the house so i press the fob and it flashes or sounds the chime to reassure me.
