Besides the Honda HR-V, Mazda will build a smaller CX-5 called the CX-3.

To be honest, the big selling point of the Renegade is going to be the off-road prowess.

By the looks of them, none of them are built to handle more then a dirt road.

absolutely, BUT, then you have to consider how relevant is the feature to the segment? Obviously buyers are not placing a high value level to off road prowess or else we would see the segment producing vehicles capable.

On second thought I'm not sure we can call it a selling point, but a point of differentiation...

Love the design, this thing looks great, which makes me wonder what a production model could look like. Only things i know which will make it for sure are some small design cues.

Meh, its not like this vehicle really needs a stick shift. I mean I understand that some people like it but its not like it does a lot for the car. An automatic would be completely fine.

I am definitely giving strong consideration to the CX-3. Although I prefer the styling of the Renegade, Mazda's reliability ratings are a big plus for the CX-3.

Did anyone else notice the HUD (Heads up Display) behind the steering wheel? Is the HUD actually making it to market on this thing? HUDs are cool!!!

I don't see why it wouldn't make it's way to market. That tech has been around for just around a decade now, long enough for it to trickle down to vehicles as cheap as that mazda is and our renegades.
