The color is pretty **** cool (in the shade here) but the this interior is AWESOME. I'm definitely going Orange with this interior if I pull the trigger.

(Latitude with zero options on the lot in Poughkeepsie, NY today...fresh off the truck)
That's exactly the color combination that I want, except as a 1.4/6-speed!

Nice to see it in pictures. Thanks.

It is indeed a great color. I like it even more that it's a color you don't typically see, I've seen a lot of cars and colors and never seen anything like this. Great opportunity for change :)

It certainly doesn't "pop" like yellow, blue, red or orange...but it's a nice color. Compared to the other similar colored Jeeps (none were Renegades or Mojave Sand, but similar) it's a bit lighter and more tan and less brown in my opinion. After I took the picture, they moved it back in the lot (where it was packed in so I didn't take any pics) where it was in the sunlight and I thought it looked a lot nicer. Usually cars of this color have the metal flecks in the painting and look almost gold. This just looked like a nice tan color that was very unique.

Maybe Sunday morning, when they're closed so I don't look like an idiot walking around with a camera, I'll go back with a real camera and take some pictures of what they have and get better accuracy for the color. :) Hopefully the Omaha Orange in transit is on the lot by then too.

Pictures don't do it justice. It almost always looks pale in pictures for some reason. It is darker in person and once I saw it,I knew it was the color for me.
Funny, I thought it looked LIGHTER in person than in the brochures and stuff. Of course, I'm a bit colorblind, but it's mostly a gray/green issue. Maybe I have a bit of trouble with tan too. Ha ha ha.

It's not just you, Mojave (as well as Anvil) was on my short list when I thought it was darker from the brochure/marketing material. When I saw one in person, it was definitely lighter.

I was reffering to actual pictures, not the animated picture on the Jeep web site. To me it is in between the two pictures you posted.
Oh don't get me wrong - I hear you 100%, but I was referring to what oysterhead00 posted where he "thought it looked LIGHTER in person than in the brochures and stuff"

Between the marketing material and the real thing, it is definitely lighter, and depending on the lighting conditions taken during the shot, it may not look as light as the second picture I posted, but it's nowhere near the first.

Those two pictures (even though one is a render) look completely different. Shame on Jeep for being so inaccurate with the coloring on their render. I'll reserve judgement till I see the color in person. If anyone gets a picture that they think is a better representation of what Mojave Sand actually looks like, it would be cool if you could post it up for us.

I think the second one I posted comes close. Here's another one from the side that someone else posted on the forum:

I also saw it in the sun...but took the picture in the shade. So that also had something to do with my "I thought it was lighter" quote.

But I'm the first to point out I'm partially color blind and don't know much about cars!

Just know that I loved the test drive and, pending any more milking on the price I can do, will be signing the paper work later this week on mine :)

I don't want to continue hating on this color, so I'll try to chime out after this, but this color almost looks like the color that the body panels would come off the assembly line as before they even been painted.

One thing that I do appreciate about the color is that is would probably look good with some dirt on it. The dirt would blend in nicely.

I actually was going to dismiss this color but looking at the two images you posted, I have to say it looks nice.
I do agree shame on Jeep for not rendering the colors correctly on their site.
