That is why I want the glass sunroof, hoping they make that an option in 2016 for the U.S. and don't keep it just for Europe.

Do you know if they DO make the My Sky panels out of glass for European models? Check out the reflection of the window sticker in this picture and you will see that the roof panels shown are made of glass. So i just wonder why they won't be offered here in the USA.

WHY... For the love of God why do they always render the Renegade and portray it on the Jeep.com website with bigger wheels/tires than we'll ever be able to put on it?

The pics on Jeep.com also render it with the Falkens, which are more aggressive (particularly the tread) so maybe they end up looking a little bigger too.

Oh and the rims looked satin in the render which I like much more than the glossy effect in the Allpar.com pic.

Thanks got the info. They must do that just to see if they can irritate Americans who just might want a glass roof but can't get it. It works. Count me in as irritated. Offer a glass roof to seal my deal.

Really don't like the aerodynamic roof rack! All so the commando green looks too pale. That at least limits it to two colors to decide from rather than three.

I think the reason behind not getting glass in the U.S. is cost. In order to keep costs low and competitive in the U.S. they have to cut options. I'm not upset about not getting glass but wish we could get the HID Xeon headlights!

that's a major disappointment. I've never owned a car without one. Granted, i'd have it open all the time, weather permitting, but not being able to look out of it if its raining, snowing, or cold would thoroughly annoy me.

I could understand if they were cutting included content to lower the base price, but not even giving the option to option one is just plain silly...

All manufactures do it. Honda for example on the CR-Z in Japan you could get a back seat, sunroof and LED driving lights, but you couldn't get it here the states.
