Hi, I have a 2019 trailhawk. I was wondering if anyone as had any issues with their multi air actuator? Lately especially if it’s cold out the engine feels like it’s misfiring but after it warms up if I restart it it’ll usually go away. Took it to the dealer and that’s what the diagnosed it as and quoted me $3,000 for the repair. Was wondering if that sounds like the issue and if it is would $3,000 be a reasonable price?

Welcome!

I'm not sure what a "multi air actuator" is (I've got a 2021 Trailhawk with the 1.3T engine)... But it sure sounds like a part of the powertrain.

And I don't know about your 2019, but my 2021 has a 5-year/60,000-mi powertrain warranty.

The way they explained it was it brings oil to the pistons but I could be wrong. Mine came with that warranty too but sadly I drive a lot so it already has 105,000 miles on it currently so I’m way past any kind of warranty now.

Some reference material
Yeah, that looks like it'd be easy enough to do in a couple hours... ;)

"Devil's spawn"? o_O

If you look up the parts, they seem to be less than $1,000 (in the UK; so much less than that in the U.S.). And it says just over 2 hours labor. So $2,000 for the labor sounds a bit...um...steep...

I originally looked up videos related to upgraded springs
Once there youtube shows lots of recommended videos for different Fiat-Alpha vehicles with the 1.4 MA.
