so is the current panoramic sun roof the same as mysky?

Um, yeah, there are issues with the MySky. You'll find a lot of threads about that here when you search.

And no, the MySky is not the same as the Dual Pane Panoramic Sunroof that I have on my 2021 Trailhawk. The DPPS doesn't have removable panels, for one. And the entire design looks to be different -- the DPPS having much less room for crap to get into the rails.

Do you have the DPPS? Are you having issues with it?

no , but i am looking at different renegades and if i want a factory hitch they all seem to have the dual roof. and i dont want a mysky type issue

If you look in your 2021 Owner's Manual, you'll see references to both MySky and DPPS. But I don't think MySky was really offered by then. And the DPPS only came as part of the Sun/Sound Group for 2021.

FWIW, I haven't seen many (or any) complaints about the DPPS here.

We haven't had any issues with our DPPS. We very rarely open it; maybe only when off-roading.
