I just got my Glacier Metallic Limited :)
My salesman was not able to get my phone synced correctly. The phone syncs, I can make calls and play my music but my texts won't come thru. Anybody have an idea how to fix this? I have an iphone 6+

I think it isn't compatible with texting on the iPhone...

Scroll down to Uconnect® 6.5 and you'll see this...

Integrated Uconnect® Voice Command and Bluetooth®+, hands-free calling+ and voice texting+ (not compatible with iPhone® mobile devices)

Iphone can't send messages, but to receive messages you have to turn on a setting in bluetooth:

Settings -> Bluetooth -> Uconnect (press the little i button), turn on "Show notifications"

You'll start receiving text notifications.

I thought I'd stick this here instead of starting a new thread.

My Latitude has the uConnect 5.0, and for the most part everything works perfectly. However it's acting strangely with regard to text messaging on my phone (Motorola Droid Turbo, Android 5.0 Lollipop, Verizon)

When I initially paired the phone, the uConnect messaging function worked perfectly. It would read incoming texts, and I could use voice commands to reply using one of the canned responses. It worked really well. However, I found later that when I got in the Jeep and the phone connected, the messaging button on the screen was grayed out. When I pressed it, a message came up that said "Texting is not supported on this phone."

So I deleted the device and re-paired, and texting started working again, for a short time, and then went back to unsupported.

So obviously texting IS supported, if it works once there's no reason for it to quit working.

Anyone else run into this?
