Hi Paul, well it's a yes and no answer really, have you heard about the problems the diesels are having in the uk, hopefully you don't have the same issues with yours.

I do really like it as it's totally different to most of the cars out there it's just really taken athe shine off things with the hassle I've had, still have a couple of issues to resolve with the dealer I bought it from regarding marks on the plastics but thats getting sorted at least just awaiting parts.

I've only seen one other renegade on the road how about you? You might have seen mine today I was in Washington visiting my folks I'm from there originally, not living too far away though so keep your eyes peeled!
Hi, I have not seen one on the road yet, fingers crossed with any engine issues , we traded in a 2011 Compass 2.0 litre petrol which was one hundred per cent reliable, two wiper blades in four years , not bad , best of luck with your car .
Welcome to the forum.
What other vehicles were you looking into before deciding to go with the Renegade?
To be honest, none really , I loved our Compass limited model ,but with a 2.0 litre petrol engine, fuel economy was poor and also it was in a high road tax band, the renegade is a funky design ,with good equipment levels in two wheel drive limited styling.

I had been looking for something like a Golf GTD or A class AMG Merc, more in line with most cars I've owned apart from the last one which was a Qashqai, which we bought for being more family friendly. The Mrs however had got used to the high up position of these SUV cars so didn't want to go back to a hatchback and put the blockers on that, I didn't mind really I do like the high up position myself.

I'd considered a Nissan Juke but a little too small in the rear and the boot, and although I liked the new Qashqai it was more of the same really and a lot of similar cars from Honda, mazda, ford etc all look the same. I seen the advert for the Renegade during NFL coverage and thought that looks really cool and that was it basically, quirky design and colours and the interior is great.
