I am retired, live in Colorado, own a 2006 Liberty Renegade, a 1995 basic Wrangler, 3 dual purpose motorcycles, do lots of fire road/off roading in the Wrangler and on the bikes.
That's what i'm thinking, it's a good replacement and i don't see why someone would keep both a liberty and a renegade, might as well stick to just one if it's just for youWelcome to the Renegade forums! Are you planning on replacing the Liberty with a Renegade?
Welcome to the forum! To answer Tony's question, I am keeping my Liberty and adding the Renegade because I know the Renegade will get better gas mileage than the Liberty, but the Liberty can handle conditions that will be too much for the RenegadeThat's what i'm thinking, it's a good replacement and i don't see why someone would keep both a liberty and a renegade, might as well stick to just one if it's just for you

good call on doing that, at least also having the liberty allows you to keep the renegade out of bad conditions. make sure to show us a picture of both jeeps once you get the renegade. side by side pictureWelcome to the forum! You won't see a trail rating number on the Liberty since its no longer made. Why should they bother comparing a new new vehicle to something that they don't offer. Since I own both an '11 Liberty and an '11 Patriot I would compare the Renegade to the Patriot. I hope it is as good or better than the Patriot. I like the way the patriot drives better than the Liberty, but the Liberty is hands down more capable than the Patriot. That being said I would probably keep the Patriot, get rid of the liberty and get the renegade.@NERenegade has someone (Phil Jansen) said that the Renegade won't be as capable as the Liberty is? I know he gave that little segment on trail rating giving the Wrangler a 9 or 10, the new cherokee a 6, and the Renegade a 4, but I haven't heard it compared to the Liberty.
Oh and Welcome to the forum!

welcome to the forum.Hello,
My name is Mircea and I'm from Romania, Eastern Europe. I'm a fan of everything off-road, owning a 2010 Suzuki SX4 4x4. I'm looking for a future replacement for my Zuk, and the Renegade is on top of the list.
