Picked up a new Renegade yesterday. I was excited to drive it to the Lyle Lovett concert. Then the air conditioner stopped working......

So they have had it since last Wed. I stopped in and they said they don't know what is wrong. Said something about having a call in to a tech specialist . How long should I wait before pursuing other options if there are any? Should I just get it and take it to a different dealer? Pretty frustrating at best. Thanks.

29 days and counting...

They said it might be fixed Monday which would be 32 days straight that they have had it. I had it for three. Do you suppose I could get my money back?

That's awful, really sorry. Did they let you know what they're trying? Is it the dealer you bought it from or a different one?
It is the dealer I bought it from. At first they said it was the freon. That didn't help. Then the expansion valve. That didn't work. Now they are supposedly replacing the compressor. If that doesn't work????
