I picked up a new 2015 Renegade about 25 days ago from these guys. The wind noise and howling has been confirmed by their foreman, but they refuse to do anything. I've called and called and will have to seek the advice of a lawyer to get this fixed or get me out of it.

Stay away...

Call FCA.

877-426-5337 is the jeep line, or you can got he email route

I have zero sympathy for the chrysler dealer network.

Also, if you want to try another dealer, I'd probably give freehold jeep a shot. After lots of issues with other nearby subaru dealers, I gave freehold dodge/suabru a shot, and their service department was pretty honest, reasonably priced, and generally friendly. THe chrysler jeep across the road is owned by the same group.

We started a case with FCA almost the day we walked into service. They have been following up, but recently they've done nothing really.

Case #: 268XXXXX VIN: ZACCJBBTXXXXXXX Vehicle Description: JEEP RENEGADE LATITUDE 4X4 SPORT UTILITY

At this time I do not have any additional information to report, and apologize for any disappointment this may cause. I value your patience during this process, and would like to assure you that updates are forthcoming. In the event you need to reach me you may use the link provided in this email or call 800-763-8422 my direct extension: 40686
At first, they were just throwing parts at it. Now, STAR , their engineering team has no solution. At this point, neither FCA or Route1USA are being helpful. Not sure what to do at this point

Call both, ask them for their contact information for your lawyer. Also you might give them hints. There have been a couple other wind noise sufferers, and the solution seemed to be replacing the windshield and installing it correctly. If you get the dealer that sorted it from the person who posted their tale, they would likely be amenable form a call form another dealer asking about what needed doing.

Another possibility is if you have the vehicle in your possession, take it to another dealer with the same complaint. Tell them nothing of the incident. If they can't find similar problems and their solutions, maybe they don't catch it. Even if they do, who cares. Have them tell you they can't fix it. Rinse and repeat. Shop that sucker around as fast as possible. Then initiate a lemon law suit. Get a GOOD lawyer, because NJ lemon law makes them pay everything.

Don't let them slide. right now you are paying for their R&D out of your pocket, and that is unacceptable.
