I just logged in to check the Color availability and they are 100% Correct, you can no longer order Commando or the Blue.

I will have no way in finding that out. Whatever they decided to do at Corporate is totally up to them. Anyone remember the amount of changes they made to the Wrangler Colors? It looks like they're doing some similar.

WOW that's crazy! Sure am glad I was an early adopter and found my Sierra Blue when I did. I honestly don't think it would have appealed to me as much as it did in this color...

I'm the one that posted in the other thread. The information that corporate sent the dealer was that the Commando and Sierra Blue were no longer available for order and would be replaced for the 16MY also. No word on the replacement colours planned. I was trying to order the Blue TH but went with my second choice of Omaha Orange.

Wonder why they choose those two colors..... Not many ordered so far? I would have ordered green, but prefer a more army green color. Those of you who snatched up blue & green already must be relieved!

3 different dealers told me the same thing.You can only get them if their already out there and on their way to the dealers. One salesman i talked to is actually from where they are built,in Melfi Italy.He will be vacationing there for 6 wks and is going to try and take a tour of the factory and get as much info as possible.

Interesting. I love my Commando green. Always turns heads, but isn't too showy. I also like it because that color fits very few brands/models. I feel like it is uniquely Jeep.

It would be fantastic if they replace it with the "Tank" green currently offered for the Wrangler. I liked the commando green online but when I saw it in person it looked a little too much like guacamole to me.


Being that they have ceased producing two 2015 colors could we surmise that all Renegades currently being built are actually 2016 models? I'll be in a position to replace my 2011 Soul with a 4T Manual, 4X4 Latitude with power My Sky in about 4 weeks. I'd really rather get an early 2016 than an end-of-the-line 2015 even if I have to wait a few weeks longer. If they replace the Commado with a darker green for 2016 that would just be icing on the cake (if not I'm going Orange).
