Non typical

I am probably not the typical person interested in a renegade, but still interested. Been following it thru the new releases and checked one out at a local dealer recently.
It would replace my current Scion xB as a daily driver. I already have 3 other jeeps: a '12 JKU - wife's daily driver, a '98 TJ streetable trail rig and a stretched cj5 trail rig along with a f250 tow rig and a camaro toy. Other than the wife's daily driver, the renegade would see the most use, my others get very few miles on them.
I am actually not all alone in this boat as other jeep enthusiasts as viewing the renegade as an economic daily driver possibility and at least it has round headlights!

I'm actually finding that you're pretty typical in these parts! Lots of existing or prior Jeep owners are flocking to the Renegade.

I also had a '98 TJ. Sahara which I got rid of for practicality reasons which I regretted but had to do.

I'll probably be getting a KJ in addition to the Renegade to start up the Jeep stable again.

That's so true. I don't like the current trend of car makers that drag the headlights back along the front fenders. I've seen at least one late model car with the headlight plastic on top of the front fenders. Ugly.
We're gonna need a bigger boat ;-) - we are jeeple too - 75 cj5, 90 yj - replacing totaled Caliber daily driver with Rene and got a Liberty to hold me over till my order comes in. The Renegade (TralHawk) really seems like the best of both worlds, at a comfortable price comparatively.

Caliber! It's been a while since i've seen one or even heard of someone talk about one they own. How did you like the Caliber while you had it?

I noticed a lot of people were not in favor or owning one.
