Will you be having the red "tow" hooks from the Trailhawk as well?
Nah, going to do a custom front bumper instead.

Speaking of this, so a few things have occurred in the last week boys n girls:

1. Everett CDJ now has possession of my Renegade and parts arrived yesterday to repair the body damage, which my insurance is doing.

2. National Park CDJ (by means that I don't fully comprehend) discussed this with the FCA/Jeep area manager and I now have a "hold" on my warranty, for transmission and body.

Seeing as how National Park CDJ did not do a teardown, even after having it for 2.5 weeks and getting a 5.5 hour approval....they never turned a wrench on it.

So I am digging further into this as there is an unwarranted hold on the warranty and I'm rather perturbed about it.

Anyhow, so body shop should be done with it in a day or two and service will have it Fri/Mon and I'll know beginning of next week what gave up the ghost in the transmission. 99% it was the clutch, but we shall see.

As for National Park CDJ, congrats on screwing this one up fellas. You have a hold put on a warranty for a vehicle you didn't touch, not sure how's that's legal, but don't worry....FCA knows about this and so does Jeep Cares and I'm not gonna let this one go either.

As for Jeep Cares, Kori is working diligently trying to help me solve this issue and get some of the nonsense sorted out. So again Kori, thank you for your assistance through this rather annoying process.

Hope to have some more pics soon, told service dude I wanted pics of the transmission after removal and the clutch pieces as well. Woo, carnage pics!

Rather unexpected price difference, so this isn't going down this time. For future reference, if you happen to have the front end needing replaced....for about $300 morr you can get the TH pieces for a front bumper assembly.

If you haven't already, the rear bumper is about the same. The Renegade Ready hitch kit is pretty much the solid steel rear bumper with inserts into the unibody 'frame' just like you're getting for the front. It might provide a good recovery point from the backside.

Would the body shop have installed the trailhawk front bits, if you wanted to pay for them?

Looks good! I'm going to start wishing for a low speed front end collision. I would totally pay $350 to have TH front end! :D
