off-roading Trailhawks?

So who here plans to offroad their Renegade Trailhawk? How long will you wait to get it dirty after you take ownership? I think mine wont see dirt until after its first oil change. I plan to do lots of seasonal roads, mud, and open trails with mine. I hope to avoid brush pinstripes until it gets a little older! What are your off road plans for your Renegade Trailhawk?

I have to say that I am one of those people who isn't planning on much off-roading. I may take it up to the cottage on the weekends where there are some dirt or rock trails around. I'll have to take it out at least once to see how well it can do at off-roading but other than that I don't have too many plans to go adventuring with it.
When can we see a video of the Renegade Trailhawk in off road like the New Cherokee ?

I read on Allpar that the Renagde will not do the Rubicon Trail :-(

As soon as I'm done break in and I get the paint protection I'll be taking it off-roading.

Plan to have the windows tinted with ceramic tint, clearbra on the entire front end, opti-coat paint protection sealant on the entire car.

I'm sure the trailhawk can handle any sort of off roading that you will throw at it with the exception of climbing rocks. it may not do as well as a wrangler but I have no doubt it'll still get the job done at the end.
I plan to join a local club to do some weekend excursions in the Renegade. There are a vast range of rated trails in New England and I hope to push it a bit. Given that it is still going to be my daily commuter, not too much. I'm in the "after the 1st oil change" club for when, but it will see some hairy winter driving before that.
it'll be interesting to see if the Renegade can keep up with the Cherokee and Grand Cherokee.
My wife and I do a lot of kayaking and backpacking. We have talked about using the renegade to get farther into areas than we normally could. So i think it just depends on what trips we take this year and any 4x4 trails that allow/can accommodate leaving a vehicle near the trail
I'll just drive mine on the roads. I have no interest in driving on trails.

depends on what you think is off roading. I plan on getting it dirty and climbing a few mountains to do some camping. But i'm not planning on doing mud pits and rock crawls.
Also plan on using it to get us to more inaccessible areas for hiking and camping. In a few weeks though I am planning to take it off road on some trails around here. If anybody has some Socal suggestions for beginner, I'd appreciate and recommendations.
There are some cool Backcountry Discovery Routes in some states. We will wait till we're through the break in period - and then we will likely hit trails pretty regularly.
Here are some SoCal trails I plan to checkout:

Thanks, CalTom! Those places look good. IN another thread someone had their TH up at Hungry Valley and it was struggling to get up a hill...

Yeah I want to road trip around NY over Memorial Day weekend and try to find some dirt roads and/or trails to explore. Getting excited! I'll post pics of the Trailhawk in it's element if I end up finding good spots.

Anyone know of anywhere in New York? Catskills or Adirondacks or Hudson Valley region?
Here are some SoCal trails I plan to checkouthttp://

Thanks for the links! We hike around the area (Mt. Baldy, San Gorgonio, San Jacinto) so we're definitely going to check those places out.
