Hi I'm having trouble shutting off alarm as it has been going off for no reason while parked. I thought it was my horn malfunctioning but I'm convinced that it's my alarm system. How do I override it to shut off, pls advise thx 🙂

I too suffered from this on my 2015 model when it was 6 months old.

It was a really easy fix and is a well documented minor fault with many a reference on this forum.

My Jeep received an electronic update via the Dealership and was instantly cured. No more car alarm sounding in the middle of the night.

STAL, the best part is that you can have written reports of similar incidents all pertaining to the same issue.

Have a wee look through the forum by searching for something like alarm, alarm faults, alarm sounding.

Copy and paste the results into a Word document or similar format and show it the Jeep Service receptionist and then ask for the Service Manager.

Be extremely polite and ask them to read the reports and then tell them it is a known Jeep fault and that you fully expect them to do the simple upgrade for free. It really as simple as plugging the Jeep into their computer and upload the file that your Jeep needs.

I personally do not foresee any issues if you are polite
