Nice to meet everyone. My main issue is that for about a year now, my fob works on and off. I have to lock it manual and use the key in the fob to manual unlock the vehicle. It doesn't do it's remote features anymore and I have to depress the start button with the fob for it to start. I have replaced the battery multiple times and it never fixed it.

Another issue I'm having is when I went to Valvoline for a quick oil change, they recommended a lot of fluid exchanges which I did not get. According to our manual, the ATF should be good for the life of the vehicle but I've read in here that some do change it. The next is the Front Differential and Rear Differential fluid. I only see RDM fluid to be inspected but never to be replaced. And there are specific oil suggestions to use to replace "if equipped". The front differential is what i would assume the PTU fluid and it says the same. There's no mandatory or recommended exchanges. But for some reason a lot of people in this forum has replaced them otherwise. Can someone explain? Thank you in advance.

and enjoy the forum!

Rear Diff very easy to do front is part of the trans. Stay away from quick oil change places for trans fluid replacement use a good mechanic or the dealer.
It could be just a bad key FOB you need a dealer to check it out. Good luck.

Change my own Trans Fluid, Used MOPAR ATF 8&9 Speed ATF Fluid.

Drained my old, measured and put the same amount in. Transmission is smooth as ever.

As for FOB, maybe check into your uconnect settings, make sure all the settings are making sense.

Did the remote stuff on the FOB never work from when you got the car? Or did they initially work first then stopped after a while.

If it never worked then you may have a dud key fob and will need a new one and get it paired with your renegade's VIN.
