Hello all. I have a 2016 Renegade which has developed an intermittent Check Engine fault over the past 6+ months which results in the following diagnostic report:
P06DD-00 Error Code: Variable Displacement Oil Pump Pressure Blocked
P0686-00 Error Code: Main Relay Commend (Unexpected Operation)
There's nothing wrong with how the car drives (other than when the Check Engine light is on, obviously the 4x4 and other engine-related functionality is unavailable) and the light has been known to clear itself from time to time.
I started by changing the oil filter as I know that can cause some issues. No fix. I have changed the Oil Pressure Valve. No fix.
I'm wondering if this might be software/sensor related?
As I said, the car runs completely fine so I very much doubt there is actually any oil pressure issues going on or it would've imploded itself by now.
Any ideas/suggestions?
