I have had my jeep renegade about 2 years now. A 2016 latitude 2wd, and my front struts were bad, I went and changed out the whole assembly on both and hear the metal clanking on my passabger right front , now I cannot afford the dealer as they want $1000 for the new shock, I was wondering if anyone has a passanger front full strut assembly for sale, or knows where to get one, thank you!

If you already changed out the strut and it clanks...its a bad strut and or mount , or something is loose. Have the sway bar links been replaced? if not disconnect them and drive it ...if the noise is gone you found your problem. If it is still there..you need to check your work. It could also be a ball joint etc...

For some reason their is a drought on complete front assemblies for the Renegade. I have yet to find any good struts for the front right side and nobody has really given any input on strut threads. There are some SenSen, PRT and MasterPros flaoting around but they are all the cheapest chinese stuff. My own mechanic tried to charge me $800 for a pair of MasterPro assemblies. I hope you have better luck than me. If you have the skills I'd say replace the strut and top mounts alone by yourself and keep the factory springs on. I don't so I'll be hunting for completes, If I find some I'll report back.
