Anyone have an idea on how soon a dealer knows what they are allotted and how soon before delivery do they find out?
I gave a local dealer options I wanted on a TH to see if they could find one. I've found nothing like it on the Jeep search at 200+ miles. Today I get a call from the dealer stating they have one "on the way" that will be there in 3-4 weeks. However, when I asked about a window sticker, etc. they said they didn't have it yet. Is it possible to know the options on one 3-4 weeks away without the dealer having a VIN or window sticker?

Every 'IN TRANSIT' vehicle I have seen on the jeep site has a VIN and window sticker.

I did the same thing last Wednesday. I visited my dealer and he actually had a printout showing that the vehicle had been allocated to the dealership and it included a VIN and all of the features included (MySky, remote start system, passive entry/keyless go, hood decal). I put $500 down to reserve the Trailhawk, but I got the same story about them not having a window sticker yet and the car would be here in 3-4 weeks. I'll keep you updated as more information becomes available to me.

So my VON is 34004914 What do I do with that number ?
You can go to jeep.com and initiate a chat with customer care to see if they can track it for you.

As for VIN not showing up for in transit vehicles, I guess it's hit or miss. I was able to get stickers for some of the inbound Renegades here in NY. Apologies for the bad advice!

Here's another site that won't get you the sticker, but will get you a build sheet - try one of the in-transit VIN's on this and let us know if it works any better than the sticker one:

https://jeep.custhelp.com/app/jeep/eqlisting_detail/session/L3RpbWUvMTM5MzY0MzI4OC9zaWQvWGxOMmc2T2w=

That works. Gives me the build sheet so I can check the options. Shows May production and has ship to/sold to state. No specific dates or tracking info but it helps to know the build details.

Thanks Foobar!

Awesome, glad I could provide some info.

The only thing that will give you dates would be the ordering system and the factory production system, both of which will need you to have a contact within FCA.

I'm a bit surprised that FCA doesn't have a rep on this forum to help out. When I ordered my Mustang in 2012 I found a customer service rep on a Mustang forum and she tracked my order from start to delivery and kept me updated on status.

They do. Their login is JeepCares and has posted on here a few times.

Hey guys I just wanted to follow up since I chatted with Jeep Customer Care yesterday to get a better estimate of my delivery date. The Customer Care rep said that my Trailhawk "has been built and is pending installation of additional equipment. This is a necessary step when additional features or optional equipment packages are added to the vehicle. There is no ETA at this time. Usually from start to finish it takes 8-10 weeks. The timing can change it can be earlier or it can also be delayed. It depends on what is going on at the factory." This was a little disheartening since my dealer had previously said it would take 3-4 weeks, but who knows, maybe it'll still arrive within that timeframe. Fingers crossed.

Signed the papers today on an Omaha Orange TH that is at status "JB- shipped to body vendor". I guess that means it's built but no idea on delivery. Dealer said previous THs have been delivered soon after they hit JB status. We'll see.......
