Power Seat Tilt Question

On page 69 of the Renegade Owner's Manual, under the description of the power seats, it says "Use the switch to move the seat up/down, forward/rearward, tilt if equipped (and this is the key phrase) and to set the angle of the seatback.

We looked at a Limited with power seats in the dealer's lot and the seat angle (tilt) was not adjustable.

This is a deal breaker as my wife has a hip problem and needs that adjustment.

Anyone know what "if equipped" means?

I know you can raise and lower just the front part or the seat cushion which changes the angle of the seat. I think you just pull up on the forward section of the long horizontal bar shaped control on the side
I know what you mean, but

Both my vehicles have power seats that do "tip" forward and back. The Renegade Limited we sat in did not; the lever made the sweat rise and fall, but not "tilt."

Hello,

so the seat will lower the bottom back but won't tilt the leg portion? Right. I've having this issue and it's very uncomfortable. I have manual seats, it will pump up and down but the front part of the seat won't move
