My wife just hit 7777 miles on her ‘17.

She’s had only one problem she thinks is the worst thing ever... the radio changes stations on its own..

I wish I could slow her down... I’m afraid she’s going to burn up the turbo!

My experience was the opposite.

I abused it due to few kinks at less than 850 miles and was mad and so I was going to trade it in after I abuse it.
Then it settled by itself after the dealer fixed the bad brake calipers, the hyd. leaks, the galloping, vibrations and some other electronic flushing stuff.

Now I intend to keep it. Still trouble free since all the fix from the first year, I now have 20k+ mostly abusive miles (knock on wood).
What sort of galloping did you have? I have some sort of "lurch" going on...not noticeable on the tach but you can definitely feel it. Happens stopped at a light and a bit while on the highway.

Good to read so many positive posts, just wonder how many of the early posters have had problems when they get up around 36000 miles, 3 years old.

Nice thread!
I hit 50,000 miles on this Renegade Trailhawk with only one recall which was the replacement of the fan. Nice!
Have had the "Go-Pedal", "Auto Flash", "Cold Air Intake", "Ragazon" full dual quad tip exhaust, all since the beginning which of course makes it a whole different vehicle...
No problem! Like the car much.

Great looking setup! I'll have to show photos of this setup to the wife.

Makes me want to go camping. Well, maybe next year...it's 46* and raining here at the moment.

2017 TH. 50000 miles. Only two very minor issues, message on dash about sound system out which went away and a license plate light out. If I tap on the license light it comes on. Probably a loose bulb.

OTher than thirst it has run perfectly.

We've had our '18 Trailhawk since September last year and 25,000 miles with none of the major issues you see on here. The only issue we needed the dealer to work on was the weather stripping on the drivers window. Other than that it's been a great rig and we are very happy with it.

No, you shouldn't be worried. It seems there were an incredible number of teething problems with the early model, but these have been ironed out and the car is as good as most. Any car can be a lemon ( the French specialise in them and have a brand "citroen" named for the fact ) but if yours is good now the chances are it will stay good. Having said that, any vehicle is built to a price point and designed to not to go wrong too much in the warranty period but beyond that you take pot luck. My trailhawk is 2017 and I plan on keeping it.

Is that so? I recently purchased a 2016 75th with 33K miles. Should I be worried? Thanks.
Same year, 50K, not a single issue... Think positive!!!
The "fan" was a recall and was changed at of course N/C.
Oil change every 5K.
Go-Pedal, Auto-Flash, full Ragazon dual quad tip exhaust, BMC air filter.

PM me with the resolution please ;)

My "Renny" 2.0 Longitude (UK) 4x4 at 20,000 miles has performed impeccably.

The fuel consumption is almost half of what you guys proclaim it to be.

This Renny averages around 52mpg for a combined average of urban/city/motorway.

I just bought my 2017 Renegade. Traded in my Honda CRV and every time I walk out to go somewhere, I am so excited to drive it! Unlike my lovely CRV, which was fine, but gave me no sense of adventure. Everyone in my family owns Jeeps, so now I am part of the club. I also love that I have sunroofs in the front and back that pop out like T Tops. I only wish it had come with a Bluetooth radio. But I am extremely happy! And super happy to be in the forum!
