Hello everyone,

I was just curious to know who this vehicle is attracting. If you don't mind can you tell us your age and sex? I'm a 45 year male that just loves this style. I was also curious if anyone has gotten a backlash from those wrangler owners? :)

None reported here on this forum, in fact a number of Wrangler owners have purchased Renegades.

Regarding age or sex, why do you care, do you let others define what you should drive or think?

If you like the Renegade buy it, better yet, buy a Trailhawk!

I'm not concerned about what people think. You should see some of the clothes I wear. Anyway I'm in marketing and was curious to know the demographic Jeep was trying to reach. Nobody dictates what I like, that's why I still listen to hair metal! LOL

21 year old guy :)
36 male, wife is 32 and loves the styling as well. I saw one of our most recent owners was 86(!), so I don't think you're going to find much of a pattern here, lol.
I'm 59 years old, male, and have been driving off-road vehicles pretty much all my life. Started on a military '45 GPW when I was 12 years old! Have many "real" Jeep friends and they are all impressed. The Trailhawk is an amazing combination of off-road capability and decent gas mileage. Come on! Is there ANY other vehicle out there that combines near 30 mpg with 4X low range? I don't think so! And, sure, I only got 22.5 mpg going across the country last week, but, ****, let's face it --- the vehicle was just getting over its break-in, and at least a third of my trip was across Texas going 75 mph with a gale force headwind, and a two foot high load in my roof-top cargo rack!

Do we get an smartwatch for filling out this survey?

I'm in my 30's and had a Jeep in my early 20's. I think the Renegade is being marketed towards the younger audience, but it's going also appeal to 1) older people who would like a wrangler, but know they need a little better mpg and a family friendly look and/or 2) people who just really like the style of it. Source: Why I bought it.

51 Years, Male

TS
25 years young, and male.
I had a couple wrangler friends challenge its jeep status.
One said "That's not a jeep... Ranger"
We were military together thats where the ranger comes from.
Another friend and I conversed over facebook with the following conversation.
Friend- I think they sell real jeeps where you found that thing.
Myself- Doubtful, i found it at toys r us
Friend- I don't think it's to late to return it and get your man card back.
Myself- I got enough downstairs (which isn't much) that I don't need to compensate...

After that lost comment he didn't respond, guess he feels like I may have challenged his manhood. Also a Wrangler owner.

So yet again this just proves the 20-30 something marketing is only to target the young at heart, regardless of age or sex.
