I am thinking about installing raptor style amber grille lights similar to this picture that I found. Just haven't found any info on it or seen anyone else do it anywhere besides this. Has anyone else done this and have any good mounting suggestions, wiring suggestions etc.

Something along those lines;
Rough Country has a 20 inch light bar with DLRs. Mount one of those above your bumper, or higher in the grille.
Dual purpose, amber grille lights until you want white lights.

I want red and blue lights as my dual purpose lights to deliberately turn off when I get an idiot pulling in too close in front of me. Imagine the look of horror on their faces as I turn them on and off repeatedly hahahahahaha :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

Would they not just be 3 standard LED lights and fitted seperately?

Only concern for me is that amber lights should only be fitted to the side of UK vehicles. (before anyone says anything, fog lamps can be yellow but not amber :p)

The second link is the permanent light. Most of them say, "flashing" but I don't know if they can be turned to permanently on. Some of them offer 12 different modes and colours within the one unit.

@Jeepatron how did you connect them??
Can you share the Amazon link, please?
They look super bright.

Did you rust protect the holes? What part of the wiring did you hook into as Nicole asked?
Here are the links to the lights:

Front amber markers

Rear red markers

I have them turn on from a relay wired into the side marker lights.

And there was no need to put any rust preventative. All the drilled holes were put in plastic.

And yes, they’re quite bright. Not as bright as the pictures make it out to look though.

Hi!
Can I ask you how you connect the lights? I'd like to do something like that but I need help. Can you share other pic of the connection?
I got no clue how this slipped by me. Apologies!

I tapped into the side marker light as a trigger for a relay that supplies direct battery connection to the lights.

How'd you mount the lights into the grill I have the kind that sit on the outside of the grill? And did you just tap into the side marker light with a posi tap connector to power them?

I drilled holes into the grill and installed them that way. I spliced a jumper wire onto the side marker power. You could probably get by with using the power directly from the side marker as long as you’re using LEDs, but I used it as a trigger for a relay instead just to be sure.
