Has anyone changed the rear side marker light yet?
If so, how did you get to it. I got all the way down to the removal of the tail/stop lights and cannot get to the side marker. TIA

I can’t find the answer to this question lol been looking forever going to have to ask dealer I guess. There us nothing in the Internet about how to get to that bulb it’s not even in the others manual

Not 100% sure on the '16's, but on my '18 the rear side marker is a factory LED. Probably serviced with the entire rear light assembly.

This is crazy. The light does have to be replaced as an assembly if the side marker light goes out.

There are 3 specialty screws that have to be removed. The light assembly has to be warmed up enough to soften the glue to separate the housing to gain access to the faulty bulb/LED... what a pain in the butt.
If my side marker light fails, I will update this tread, because I will try to fix it. I just don't want to have to replace it (you know, in case it breaks while trying to take it apart) until absolutely necessary.

I switched my front lights to led and wanted to make the back side markers an led as well that’s why I was wondering thanks for the help to find out !

Has anyone (eu models) have made a modification to rear side markers? As you know, european models don't have rear side markers, so it would be lovely to know if there are mods for it
