Recall Details
On certain vehicles equipped with an automatic transmission, the transmission wire harness may have improper crimps. This could cause an unexpected shift to neutral which could result in a loss of motive power, which in conjunction with traffic and road conditions, and the driver's reactions may increase the risk of a crash. Correction: To be determined.

Well at least they are fixing things. I have had 5 recalls on my 2013 Passat since picking it up Dec 2012. 6 if you count the recent diesel scandal which they have yet to send the official recall notice on.

Recall on 9 speed transmission

For everyone having problems with there 9 speed transmission cutting power while driving there's a new recall for that! Also to all the people who couldn't believe my brand new Jeep could have problems here some good news for you. my jeep wouldn't start and had to be towed to be returned to the dealership.

I'm going to change my "Renegade" logo on the sides to say "Recall."

When I'm asked, it's a Jeep Recall.

More than one recall every year I've owned it....
There's all of three recalls.

1) The transmission wiring harness

2) The security patch for uconnect security issues,

3) The improperly hardened lug wrench socket.


I suppose you can get to three if you have the right options.
