Looks like there was a contest where they put a renegade in the mountains of germany and left a trail of clues, find it and its yours.

Jeep U.S. marketing appears to be beyond lame, here we have the major LA Auto Show this week and they do not have one announcement about the Renegade being there, but they have announced the 500X will be there.

The best you can ever hope for is your Jeep sales person will let you find the hidden "Release the Renegade" candy in the bowl on their desk.

Regarding the auto show, I'd think that if it was going to be there they would announce it esp with the 500x being there. Can't imagine why it would be a secret. It's been in Europe and Brazil, seems like we're getting ignored.

I am sure the Renegade will be at the LA Auto Show, they had one at the Texas State Fair Auto Show last month.

I emailed jeep a few days ago and they replied letting me know that the Renegade will be available January 2015!!!

Jeep always said January 2015, for launch. Availability is another question.

In Europe, launch was in September. Availability in November. And not all engines, not all options...

For the dealer. Which may be as involved as you can order up to X quantity of flavor A, B of flavor Y; Flavor G, Z, and Q will not be available for 6-8 months.

In which case the odds of letting you call dibs on something specific is near zero as they don't know 100% that they will get.
