I'm in the process of trying to remove my Latitude's grill for a little modification. I don't like frying blind when working on cars and really wish a tech manual was available somewhere other than a Jeep dealer. While feeling around for attachment points it occurred to me that maybe the Mopar aftermarket grill and mirror cap kits come with install instructions.

If the kits do come with install instructions and and any one has purchased one would you be willing to scan in and then post here a copy of at least the exploded view of the bumper or better yet the install procedure?

I'm pretty sure FCA would be fine with it. Most of us did just give them $20,000 to $30,000 after all.

You'd be surprised. MY last ride, the tech manual was something insane like $1400. Of course it was pirated. Having seen it, I think they priced it that way because it was nearly useless and they didn't want customers seeing it.

O.K....Would someone who purchased an aftermarket Mopar grill assembly be willing to DESCRIBE the bumper cover removal/install procedure?

I remember seeing something about car makers saying that no matter what the vehicle is still theirs, apparently we're just paying full price for something we don't fully own and can make changes to.... weird I know.

There's a good writeup on removing the rings here. It does not address removing the entire grille, just the trim rings.
