For Canadians / Quebecers, I saw in the inventory of Montreal (and surroundings) Jeep dealers Renegades.

In fact one of these dealers has the Trailhawk and it is the place where I got my Patriot, very close to where I stay... It is around 36K$ Canadian before taxes and extras... Again, i think tooooo expensive for Canadians vs competition...

I still might test drive it just for fun (The TH) but I removed it from my shopping list...

So a TH is waiting for you in Montreal!

It does skew a bit on the expensive side for Canada. I think that may be one of the things that gets in the way of the Renegade's success. They are just asking too much for it.

Aha I just posted on the Thread about "what you get instead of the Renegade" the answer : ) I will go with the Subaru Outback, yes a radically different size and market but has the comfort for my legs, the capability I need for the type of off-roading I will do and it is a great family car for our tough winters here in Montreal... Also certainly more reliable and durable than a Jeep.

I can get it in the Touring trim with the same exact price of the the TH Renegade my local dealer has.
