When do we expect the release date to be for the Renegade?

Yeah especially since at this point all we seen was a test mule using the shell of a caliber. they don't even have the hand built pre-production models out yet. another year at the least

That being the case, it's likely this will happen for the Renegade.

2015 model for sure. Below $20,000? I will believe it when I see it.

The word on the playground is Jeep is going to be unveiling their new Renegade at the Geneva Motor Show in March of 2014.

Yea, I've read from other sources that it is going to be revealed in March in Geneva as well. I think that it would be safe to place bets on it. You never know though, maybe it will be delayed for half a year because of transmission issues. It has been known to happen...

There's even a chance at it unveiling at a number of shows across the globe, some car makers do this.

a new article on autocar mentions that the baby jeep and the Fiat 500x are set for a 2015 launch.
