Would some current Renegade owners please post the size and type of battery that came in your model.

Next question, this may be for the Trailhawk only, does the sticker say it is an Absorbent Glass Mat (AGM) style battery?

Great question. When I looked under the hood the battery didn't look at all impressive. Very small like a compact sedan. I don't know the spec's so I'm interested in this question as well.

Thanks BW, I've had no luck in searching by those numbers to come with what group size the Renegade battery is. I found this part number as Mopar:

Some months ago there were a new about some of the batteries used in Renegade (and 500X).
For the models with Stop & start FCA uses Exide Technologies batteries, the EFB (enhanced flooded batteries) labeled as Mopar-HD (Heavy Duty).
These batteries are used in combination with the following engines: 1.4 Multiair S&S, 1.6 Multijet 120 CV and 2.0 Multijet 140 CV in the range 60 Ah and 70 Ah.

Looks like the Rene battery is a group 48

Obviously if I purchased a new battery I would go for the the one with greater amperage.
