If the same price tag applies for a TH version here in Canada, I will certainly forget about it...

Nah we'll be ok in NA, you cant just convert the Eur price to CAD and call it done. Jeeps going for an up scale positioning in Europe, like for instance the KL is priced along the same lines as the RR Evoque...

I hope so! In fact my Patriot North 4x4 with cruise, remote starter and extended warranty costed me 28.000CA$ in 2010 including taxes etc. If the Renegade TH will get to this price threshold in Canadian $, then I will ceratainly consider it

BTW I did not convert from EU, I just think the TH let's say for 34.000CA$ is a little too much for its size

The canadian site that had pricing information on it (legit? we dunno) had the TH starting at $25k Canadian without additional options.

25K Canadian is a great price for the TH of course if it is the real price ...

One can imagine that few gimmicks added here and there + some interest might push it all the way through the 30sK but I think that the Trailhawk as is, has enough capability and features...

2 features are important to me here in Montreal:

- Equivalent of cold weather package (on Cherokee)
- Navigation

Other than that, nothing else is worth being plugged in this little one...

And I will put a big X on the removable roof panels... I hope it will be super optional in the TH trim because I want a classic metalic, sealed leak free roof over my head on the Canadian roads

Same here, don't like that the Black & Red for TH myself. Why not the Black & Diamond option for the TH available for the Limited ?

I always liked the black and red, just something about it on a jeep like this that sits well with me.

I like the black and red interior for the rugged vs funky look of the Renegade Trailhawk it works better than paler options that reflect more urban luxury etc that fit better in the more ubran looking trims ...

My problem with it is black and red interior does not jive proper with all the exterior colors. Id love an omaha orange TH with the white and orange interior, thats class...

Prices include VAT

Prices on the Italian configurator include 22% VAT (value added tax). That explains a large chunk of the price gap, compared to what we would expect to pay in US and Canada.

I recall a news release somewhere stating that the base price would start with a "1". FCA aren't ninnies; the pricing over here will be competitive.
