It IS going down this week! Here's a quote from TFLCar.com:

"TFLcar will bring our driving impressions on and off the road to you when the embargo lifts at 12:01am ET on Friday, January 23, 2015. Pricing information is also embargoed. Stay tuned as TFLcar brings you video reviews and pricing details very shortly."

TrailHawk with a Trailer Hitch.

Oh and in the gallery on TFLCar.com there is a picture "I've never seen before" of a Sierra Blue TrailHawk WITH a trailer hitch for all of you who were wondering what it would look like.

And there is encouraging statement in the beginning of the article, I wonder if it reffers to the production batch or the test drives and reviews ones :

"The 2015 Jeep Renegade is coming very soon. The first shipments are on the boat and arriving now. Yes, the newest little Jeep is coming to the USA from Europe."

Okay, call me uncultured swine if it helps, but can someone break this down for me?
I get that this is saying no more info until friday. And I get that this is due to embargo, and I know what embargo means. But how does an embargo apply to this specific situation? Or which embargo I guess I should ask????:|

That's exactly what a review embargo is! Information is given to news sites and reviewers. This can include price, EPA estimates, or even just a test drive. Basically, journalists are told "What you see today is a secret until Friday." Or in this case, "These specific things are on embargo until Friday."

We have to wait and see.. we don't know what exactly will be shown, and this is just one source. For all we know, their impressions of a test drive are all that is on embargo, and besides that they could be as much in the dark as we are. But at least this is a short wait, and it's gotta be here soon!
