At least they are pushing people to buy this new Jeep down there. Here in Canada, not only no incentives (yet), on the build and price of Jeep.ca, it is a 5.99% interest no matter how many years you choose to finance it. While a Cherokee ranges from 0% (for 24 months) to 3.49%(96 months)...

They don't seem they want to sell the Renegade up here :)

Yeah no kidding. I can get a Cherokee Trailhawk for almost the exact same price of a Renegade Trailhawk (cheaper even, when you consider the finance rates).

Hopefully things will be different once production at the South American plant gets underway, but until then I have to either keep my 03 Liberty or look for something more affordable.

I don't know. I've seen commercials for the Renegade here in Canada and I saw it at the Toronto auto show too.

are you experiencing any issues with your liberty currently? i know with a vehicle that old usually you run into quite a few things.
