Can anyone give insight as to ride quality in the Trailhawk vs. Latitude? I found a Jeep Wrangler test drive on the highway very rough, so will the Trailhawk replicate a similar ride? Ride quality on-road is an important factor.

Thanks for the responses.

Several of the press reviews out in the last month mentioned the Trailhawk had a better ride on the streets vs the other models.

This may be due to the rear cradle on the Trailhawk having spacers to help with some of the lift. These spacers may in fact be or act as isolation bushings, which makes sense to give a better ride.

The Wrangler has a terrible on road ride due mostly to the solid axles. The Renegade has an independent suspension, so that alone gives it a much better ride.

As for Trailhawk vs Latitude, a few of the reviews mentioned that the Trailhawk has a softer suspension, so the ride quality is better. However, the softer suspension also causes more lean in cornering, so the Latitude handles better on road but with a ride that is slightly more stiff. But either of them will be way better than the Wrangler.

what Eric said,

Trailhawk- softer suspension for off-roading makes onroad ride softer but causes more body roll which is bad for handling.

Latitude - stiffer suspension for better handling but slightly rougher ride

Wrangler - compared to these two the wrangler feels like a church pew.

Was it a 2 door? If so test drive the 4 door Wrangler they ride nice on highway.

...Actually, just realized a major reason I stopped looking at any Wranglers. In order to get a "body-color hardtop" (which imho is the only thing worth getting) you have to dive in about an xtra $10k. Makes no sense.

The length for the 4-Door Wrangler seems to be a bit off. The length I have found on Jeep's website is 184.8" for the Unlimited, with a 116" wheelbase.
This is correct.^ For whatever reason the Jeep site is erroneously listing the same length for both the Wrangler and Wrangler Unlimited under specs (at least where I am looking at).
