On the rock sliders, I was thinking maybe we can reuse the top portion of the plastic molding by attaching it to some sort of fixture and rip saw off that bottom lip and some how reattaching it over the top portion of the rock slider inside the door areas to cover the screws for a better finished look

Two thumbs up for Rocky Road !!!Easy to install !! Everything lines up perfect!'
Disregard the RR insructions , they are useless
Just remove the 2 Bolts holding up each hook, slide the mount in between the hook and top , line up the holes, put back the bolts but don't tighten them , the hooks may push back some ,so you have to pull them back forward by putting a strap on the hooks ,rap the strap around tree ,back up pulling the hooks forward , then tighten the bolts .....done!! Next attach the skid plate and that's Easy too just 4 bolts .2 on top ,2 on bottom... Done
Did you have to trim plastic to get the bumper to slide in. It looks like i may have to take a drumel to create more clearance for the bumper to slide in over the hooks.

I put the sliders on last night and had to go to the store to buy more hardware that wasn't included in the kit. I also broke a couple flare clips trying to pull off the OEM cover panels and need to find a place that sells them.
Thx for your time
Here is a thread I started about trim fasteners. You'll find a source in there.

This linked to a short thread about an a/c drain??

I was doing my drilling of holes to mount my rock rails up, and of course broke a few front fender clips, attempting to relocate a couple clips from high to low on the fenders, but no cooperation from this **** white clipy thingy... ?? headed to dealer in the AM to hopefully get a bag of clips.. And man that pinch weld is a beast to drill through.. Last step to get my sliders bolted up.

That's odd... Whenever I copy the link it pastes as that a c drainage...

This should work:

Yay thank you Sgt. Ordered a pack of 10 don't wanna drive up north, and don't wanna wait too long.

Gonna try to finish tomorrow with my drilling and attempting to put these clips in. I dislike this design, but the last fender I had to work with was a 98 XJ so j guess it could be that..

No problem. I'm still rolling around with a loose front left fender piece, because t it's not horrible so I'm fine want ting for my clips.

Nice job! Any plans to test the out? ;)

I wish I could say yes. It would be a spur of the moment..if I knew somewhere easy and local to go try them out...work too much to plan something, and the lady's schedule doesnt match up to mine, so I cant go for a long time or she'd get a little lonely:crying:
