Just added a set of Thule WingBar Edge bars #9583 in silver and the Thule Trail basket #823 to my Opening Edition model.

The overall package added about 19cm to the overall height which brings my OE version to roughly 1.89m. I am also planning to add the G-Force lift kit would which will add another 2.5cm still putting me well under the 2.0m height of most underground garages by about 8.5cm.

I really like the overall setup albeit a bit pricey at $900 USD all taxes and installation included. However, as it was my birthday, I decided to splurge.

I also found that the unit added a lot to how the vehicle looks and contributed very little wind noise or fuel consumption as I found on the trip I did over the weekend from Budapest to the High Tatras in Slovakia.

The overall trip was just over 600km and included a mix of city / highway driving. My average fuel consumption came in at 7.25L/100km or 32.5 MPG using US gallons as the metric. The driving was probably 20% city / village driving and 80% highway / open road.

Below are a few pictures of how the setup looks. If there is a desire for more detailed pictures, I am happy to post them. Just let me know.

Interesting that your TH doesn't have any tow hooks.
