I used the sat nav in the 24 hour test car quite a bit and it was spot on. It was mostly around Glasgow though. They always seem to me to be better in cities.
Hi Kevin, I have the same issue in my limited and it's driving me mad. It takes me on silly routes that just dont make sense. I've checked that it is set on fastest route (not avoid motorways or anything). I have also upgraded to lastest software by downloading the .swf file on a usb stick.. Now I get bad navigation (still), an odd smiley face that keeps changing colours (don't know what that's all about) and I can't connect using the UConnect app on my phone.. Just keeps apologising and saying please try later. Did you get anywhere? As some of you have Longitude spec upwards, have you used the sat nav? Any problems? I'm asking as I currently have a Scenic with TomTom built in. I have entered destinations and it has taken me elsewhere, yet when I put the same location into my phone sat nav, it worked perfect. Had both phone and Scenic nav running together to go to the same location and the phone got it correct and the Scenic TomTom got it wrong. If I was going to a location that was built in the last two weeks, I could understand it, but locations are years and years old.
The map should move automatically like a normal sat nav....not sure if there is something in settings that could prevent this. Odd....The only real gripe is the map view. It locates your cars position correctly but does not update it ??? Who have to move the map to keep up with the vehicle travelling
Have I missed something in setup?
