Have a new Renegade and have this indication. A picture of fab and message: "Service Passive Entry System"

has anyone experienced this and the dealer resolving this? What was involved? Did they fix it? Did they keep the car to repair etc...

Thanks any info will be helpful.

Same here. Battery disconnect for 10 minutes resolved the "Service Passive Key Entry System" caution on my 2018 Jeep Renegade. Dealer wanted the car for diagnostics, couldn't take it for another two weeks, told me once I dropped it off on a Wednesday morning, they likely wouldn't even call me back until the following Monday, because they had "so many cars in the diagnostic queue" ahead of me. They also sounded clueless about the problem when I stopped by to just get them to pull the maintenance alert codes for me before I left on a car trip (I wanted to make sure nothing more nefarious was going on, and they said they would do that for me). I am wildly under-impressed by the local Jeep Service department.
Hi there.

If you need support while your Jeep is at the dealership, let us know.

Just a shot in the dark... try disconnecting the negative battery terminal for about 15-30 min. Seems to help some folks with issues.
Unplugging the battery cables I'm plugging them back up is exactly what fixed my problem with the light coming on. Thank you for your help!
