After 20k on my trailhawk the shifter went. I could still shift out of park but barely. So far every 6 months I have had something major go wrong. First the was a software problem causing the car not to start or the doors to unlock. Now the shifter went bad.

Do you have the manual transmission or the automatic?

Is it a transmission problem or is it just that one of the cables connecting the shifter to the transmission snapped?

There was nothing wrong with the transmission knock on wood. Just the whole shifter assembly.

The Trailhawk is only available with an auto trans.
