Anyone see a short shifter made yet that would work with our 6 speed setups?

Maybe for FIAT?

Keep an eye out on both the Abarth and Dodge Dart forums. A short-shift solution for either of those has a good chance of working on a manual Renegade.

Here's a pic of an Abarth with cable controls (may be the right one), just cant find a pic of the Renegade shifter.

I have a buddy that custom makes short throw shifters for other Dodge/Chrysler/Jeep vehicles. Once I get mine delivered, I'll have him take a look at it. The think I like about his work is that the doesn't hack the shifter like most. For the most part, the height remains in tact, and the throw is reduced by 30-40%. I'll let you know what I find out.
