Does anyone else take issue with the big ba-dookie key fob? Or more importantly, has anyone successfully switched it out for a smaller one, such as the Wrangler key fob?

It takes up too much space in my pocket, and I'm always popping the button to open the key.

I have a problem with accidentally hitting the huge panic button. Just holding it the wrong way in your hand while simultaneously loading or unloading the vehicle can set it off. Panic Alarm blaring at 6 in the morning = not good.

It's not a huge problem, but I wish they had put a trunk release button there instead.

I don't know the answer to your question, but I'm with you. The one I have is kind of bulky to be carrying in my pocket all the time.

yeh kindy bulky i carry it separate and not on my keys just because of the weight

I agree the key fob is a bit bulky, and the key release button gets pressed in my pocket all the time.

This is a concern I have coming from a Ford. Right now when I go running, I can just lock the keys in the car, then get in with my code using the keypad on the driver door. I'm so used to this I guess I just assumed it was a standard feature now, but no one else seems to be on the keypad train. Not sure where I'm going to keep my keys when I go running now, but I guess I'll figure it out.

Ford has been doing the number-pad thing for a couple decades now, and they remain the only manufacturer to do so on any large-scale basis.
