No, but the ones you see for most vehicles are. Most vehicles can't just gain fording depth just by adding a snorkel. If the vehicle is not made to Ford deeper water it does not matter if you have a snorkel or not. But what I am saying is snorkels are not and never were created just for water fording.

I see these snorkels being installed, but given the fording depth of the Trailhawk is 19 inches and the snorkels connect well above that, they don't really improve anything do they?
