I mean seriously, from the perspective of "person on the internet" there's only so many times I can take seeing the same dude in front of the same two renegades start the same spiel, digress to cherokee stuff I don't care about, and continue on to say the same content free stuff to close it out.

I'm pretty sure by the fourth 20-something minute video with "It begins with a one and I could be fired for saying that," I'm pretty sure you actually couldn't be fired for saying that.

I think its actually the opposite Raz, we place so much stock in the internet being able to bring us continually improving content and they are completely taking advantage of that. They know we're crawling through the drudge looking for any morsel so we can bring it back to our respective internet communities and hold it up like a shinning jewel.

Its only after we've been had do we think PHUCK NOT AGAIN, wash rinse repeat.

I hear what you're saying raz, but you know most people don't operate on that level. Information is a consumable, provide a simulacra of providing information and the effect is the same as if any was actually provided

My beef is these videos that say they were freshly uploaded to You Tube.. When you watch them, they end up being that same B roll press footage and each with their very own array of obnoxious music accompanying it.

You are right, that explains attendance. It doesn't explain why they post it like it is still news of some sort.

Sounds like they need some younger folks on their team to help decide what should and shouldn't be done, or at least someone that understands social media and is actually engaged in it.

because someone is paying them, they have to get the content up because everyone else is doing it. Its the sad state of automobile journalism.

As far as YouTube goes, there is really no disadvantage to posting more and more content. Just post as much as possible and see what sticks seems to be the strategy.

Yup, when it comes to that, you do expect to see some sort of garbage from them. At least there are a few out there that still aim to make money from it and have people to answer to but at the same time do it really well, with passion.
