Let's say you want a Renegade in Black. Jeep will invoice you $150 extra for same color roof option. Guess what color it would be otherwise? Seriously Jeep?! I couldn't believe the sticker. Has anyone caught that while negotiating?

The body color roof option should be a zero cost - where are you seeing $150?

EDIT: I played around with the configurator tool and it won't let me choose a Black Renegade and add Body colored roof option - it forces me to go to another color.

Also, it appears to be a zero cost for the Latitude and above, not the Sport.

It was line itemed on an actual sticker I saw over the weekend. Black TH with bells and whistles for ~$31,400.

Yeah, the hood decal is $150, that's probably what you were looking at. Body color roof is a zero cost option for the TH, and irrelevant for the Black one, you have no option but to get it

It won't let you do it on the build tool, but if you order one through VOIM at your dealership, they have the option to body match the roof.

I just questionwhat other color the roof would be other than body color, or at least black which in this case is body color.

My O Orange Trailhawk (finally with an updated status of ready for shipment after two workers strikes at the docks) says on its invoice, "body colored roof." I actually would prefer a black roof. Didn't know you even had a choice. Every single Trailhawk I've seen on Google images has a black roof.)

As far as I know black is the standard for the TH unless specified. Personally I think the body colored option looks much better. The black top was the designer's attempt to pay homeage to the Willys. To me, this is design for design sake and is a bit of a reach. Willys Jeep does not have a C pillar.

If you want the black roof bad enough, you could have that portion wrapped in black vinyl.

I like the black roof on my silver TH. It breaks up some of the silver. I didn't like the hood sticker though and peeled it off. I wouldn't mind if the shape of the decal was painted on with the same paint as the roof.

I tried to order my TH same body color, but when the Dealer went to put the option in, the system wouldn't take it..... Anyone else have this issue or able to actually order the body color? (I ordered alpine white) bummed if it's available & I didn't get it!
