ok, 7 weeks past the original delivery date i'm finally getting my renegade, or was until 20 mins before I was due to pick it up someone realised it needed a software update, can anyone tell me how long this takes ,i was under the impression that reason it sat at the docks for 3 weeks was so all these updates could be installed , pissed off a bit of an understatement, fly off on holiday tomorrow really don't need this crap ,don't want to be waiting at the dealers when I should be on a plane

Were you able to get your updates installed and pick up your Renegade?

FCA dealerships have the necessary tools to check for any software updates your Renegade may need. If I come across any TSBs involving software updates, I will be sure to let the community know.

Here is what samse told me on forum:

the TSB´s exist, by example some ##: 08-053-15, 08-043-15, 08-052-15, 08-023-15 and 08-026-15.....

They listed ones above are all for the BU, but i think there are more than this few on the FCA US LLC Servers....

No one with a dealer account/ good dealer connections there?

Mine is due at dealer around July 7. Is there someway to know if update was applied in Italy before leaving or will be done at dealer. Is there a way to confirm was done at one or the other?

jquest21- guess you could ask the dealership service dept to check, but I dont think there is any way for owner to really check to see if anyone has updated that software. If it was for the radio, you could check software version via setting in the infotainment system??
