Hello all,

I have a 2016 Renegade sport 6 speed 1.4l. I've had it for going on three years now and had the same spark break twice on it the porcelain was snapped right in half both times and the coil pack was burnt up. Both times I got a big drop in power and mpg. I went to two different mechanics and both told me they're not sure how it's happening but it was the first time both have worked on one. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Damaged during install? Which plug when you are looking at the engine? I know the Left most(#1 I believe) has the tubing over it and many times without removing these lines people try to sneak it in and don't realize the extension is at angle. Also overtightening could crack the plug inadvertently.
