If the Falcon Wildpeaks don't show up for the Trailhawk, I may drop to 16" wheels since there is a better selection of 16" A/T tires. Are any of you going to be getting aftermarket wheels soon after taking delivery or just going to stick to OEM wheels?
I may sell the OEM tires as take-offs, install winter ice/snow on the steelies as a winter set, and order some nice summer alloys/tires for the summer. Are any of you going to be getting aftermarket wheels soon after taking delivery or just going to stick to OEM wheels?
I was thinking that since the OEM steelies look horrid, wont accept a cover, and run $200 dealer retail, I'd sell them as take-offs and get these with Geolanders.I may even go just steelies and A/Ts and use a decent silver wheel cover. Replace the covers for $20 after every year or two of off-roading. Steel is soooo much easier to repaint and keep nice after 3-4 salty winters. Alloys with powdercoat are a disaster to renovate.
We need to get a poll going on these because I can bet the one to the left is what'll get the most votes. It's my favoriteHere's what the 2 options look like:
It was mine too but it was a little deceiving. And it won't accept a cover to cover it up. Here is what the wheel actually looks like:We need to get a poll going on these because I can bet the one to the left is what'll get the most votes. It's my favorite![]()
